From The Studio
Since its inception in 2015 the pursuit of a gritty and groove laden sound has been the foundation on which The Konspiracy is built. And though a straight forward and straight ahead approach to writing and performing high energy hard rock has always been one of its cornerstones a wide variety of influences from old school blues to vintage rock as well as punk, grunge and an array of heavy metal genres, have also been drawn from and infused into the sound.
At the core of the band there lies an unrelenting commitment to keep creating a thoroughly hard driving and visceral brand of music by bassist / vocalist Kris Engel and long time drummer, now turned guitarist / vocalist, Charlie Chaboyer. And just as steadfast in the same pursuit are drummer Gary Glynn and guitarist / vocalist Gustavo Medina who both bring to the band equal parts solid punk pedigrees and dynamic hard rock versatility.
As always, it remains being all about high octane riffs colliding with utterly raw brooding melodies, a melting pot of rhythms from downright swampy to thoroughly blistering and the exploration of ever wider ranges of textures and dynamics. So while it continues to evolve over time, The Konspiracy also remains absolutely true to its roots. Most simply put… Kick ass hard rock.
